Singing the National Anthem Appearance.

On Wednesday, Feb 22, 2012, I had the HONOR to sing the National Anthem at my school, the University of Toledo, men's basketball game.













Thanks to my parents for coming to the game to support me, they were given complimentary tickets to the game. Thanks to my friends who came and for my fellow band members and brothers from KKP for cheering me on and supporting me. I sang it and no squeaking or cracking of my voice yay!! Afterwards, I received a lot of compliments and support from everyone, including Becky Minger's dad Mike. Thanks for the support it means alot. IT feels good to know that people who are close to me are Proud! This is only one of a few singing engagements I have coming up so super excited to be asked to perform the National anthem at other events locally.

After singing, I joined my fellow band members playing during the game, but I still wore my crown and banner. Pictures to follow....

Appearance at the Miss Mansfield/Miss North Central Pageant

Wow what a great competition! As always, Laura Russell puts on a great Show. I really enjoyed the evening and I got to see pageant friends Alicia Huyghe, Chelsi Howman and Allison Vance, my bestie Loren Baker who was competing and my wonderful chaperone from Miss Ohio, Nancy Keinath, My host family from Miss Ohio, Robin and Theresa Jakubiak and my wonderful Directors... Jan & Don Moll.

New addition to our family!

This Loki..... he is a Cavalier King Charles breed. He is so adorable and definitely my mom's baby!!

Appearance at Toledo Area Humane Society/Girl Scout After School Programs

I love these appearances. I get to have fun playing with the animals and talking with the girls from the Girl Scout troups too. Brings back memories from when I was a Girl Scout. Plus I get to talk about my Platform, PETS - Teaching kids about being a responsible Pet owner. This particular day.... I took Xena our ShihTzu to the meeting and I was able to share her with the girls. Of course, Xena soaked up all the attention too! Its good socialization for her.

Appearance at Ellen's Miss America Send-off

I attended Ellen's send off to Miss America. It was a nice show and Ellen had some very nice outfits/gowns to wear. Attached are pictures from the evening.
