On Wednesday, Feb 22, 2012, I had the HONOR to sing the National Anthem at my school, the University of Toledo, men's basketball game.
Thanks to my parents for coming to the game to support me, they were given complimentary tickets to the game. Thanks to my friends who came and for my fellow band members and brothers from KKP for cheering me on and supporting me. I sang it and no squeaking or cracking of my voice yay!! Afterwards, I received a lot of compliments and support from everyone, including Becky Minger's dad Mike. Thanks for the support it means alot. IT feels good to know that people who are close to me are Proud! This is only one of a few singing engagements I have coming up so super excited to be asked to perform the National anthem at other events locally.
After singing, I joined my fellow band members playing during the game, but I still wore my crown and banner. Pictures to follow....
